Composer of the week
Haven't blogged for a long time, maybe this will keep it going :) From now on I shall introduce a new composer every week whom I think is absolutely awesome.
And this week, thanks to Eric Whitacre, I have a newfound love and respect for vocal music.
"Lux Aurumque", sang by his virtual choir. It's absolutely heavenly, check out the process here!
And here's another, the sounds and effects generated is simply amazing
Pieces like these just makes you go "oh dang, I should have joined choir instead when I was sec 1." Oh well no regrets there, the cello is still a fantabulous instrument, and plus cellists can sing but singers can't play the cello hah. xD
Hopefully Eric comes to Singapore soon! I just can't imagine listening to those pieces like in a concert hall zomg.
And PS: he's quite hansum also x)
