Wow, this is the first time in like half a year I'm putting up more than 1 post a month.
Yes, my blog has been dead for long, and soon I'll be too. My last post started by saying school life is okay, but now I’m really on the verge of collapsing.
Coming up…
1. English showcase portfolio
2. Chinese project
3. History Assignment
4. English Social Essay
5. Physics CCT
6. Chem CCT
7. HCL COMMON TEST
8. Chem SPA
9. MEP term test
10. Chem OBA on Reaction Kinectics
And trust me, more will come on the list very soon…
Progress report 1 ended with a 3.33, with my only 4.0 coming from MEP :) My Chem got 79%, which is already considered low cos almost everyone in my class got 4.0 and some people like Dennis even got like 99%. I screwed up everything else, notably Physics, English and History.
Many competitions were also held on the past few days: (For some reason, I find it easier to use the cliche assembly tone)
1. Scrabble Competition.
Together with fellow ex-Rosythians and current Rafflesians Kenneth, Xuewen, Haiwei, as well as our last member Thomas who wasn’t a Rosythian, we formed one of the 6 groups to represent RI in the Scrabble competition last Saturday (same day as ORA) and owned the other schools with a total point difference of more than 2500 and a sweet score of 14 wins out of 15 matchs, thus proceeding to the finals in June.
2. Rugby Finals
Held on Monday at the Padang, our Rafflesians fought hard but eventually lost to a better ACS(I) team with a close score of 11-15. Our rugby captain Bryan Koh scored a try, but it was not enough to win, and thus we left the Padang after reaching the finals for the first time in 17 years…
3. RGS squash finals
RGS lost 2-3
4. RI squash finals
RI won 3-2. After falling behind 0-2, we fought back to make the score 1-2. And in the 4th set, we were once again trailing 0 sets to 2, with rafflesian kimwee agaist ACS(I) top player. However, he gritted his teeth and showed true Rafflesian spirit and eventually led to a hard fought victory. A round of applause please.
Go Raffles! And may you bring us the holiday everyone wants so much :)
