A Monday in 3D

Today was a relatively boring day too. We had Math in the first period, and there was a test, which I obviously did not study for as I knew nothing about it until that very morning when Jian Xiong told me. The test was actually quite simple, but I can’t believe I actually screwed up, especially the last question. People like me usually look too deep into simple stuff. Haiz…

Our second period was SS, which was a free period as our teacher was not around :) Everyone was doing random stuff; I was playing handphone games (Gunbound) with Samuel Koh, and after 5 games I lost 4-1. We had Chinese, and then recess.

Remember the retarded dude I mentioned in my last post? Lets just say his name, Dennis (sounds like a crap name right?) This Dennis Heng is a screwed up one, unlike other Dennis’ that I know of like Dennis Chew from my primary school. Oh well, so during recess, Dennis and I were walking to the snacks machine in our boarding complex, as the canteen is always packed like sardines. I bought Ruffles, and so did he. The funny thing was that his packet of Ruffles got stuck. Haha, these machines are never reliable. So we tried banging the machine, but the snack was stuck fast. In the end, after like 10 minutes, Dennis took out another 60 cents and bought another packet from the same slot. 2 came out fortunately, and later he sold the extra packet to someone else.

After recess, we had Physics. My class is 3D, one of the mugger class (A-D) but the least mugger one. However, there is this mugger called Tian Chen whom every teacher just loves soooo much. Our Physics teacher was one of our better teachers, and we were covering the topic of Light then. We came to the question which talked about Eclipses, and here’s where the fun began… The teacher was talking about the Lunar eclipse, the one which the Earth is in the centre of moon and the sun. So he said, "We experience this quite frequently, this is how we get our new moon and full moon etc."

Tian Chen jumped up from his seat and cried "No! Eclipses and phases of the moons are just 2 different things!" Then, there was this argument among the teacher, Tian Chen, and the rest of the class. The argument was quite heated, and then the teacher covered the theories again and said, "I thought that was what you people learned in Primary School, isn't it?"

Tian Chen cried out louder "Noo!! That's the childish, kiddish explanation!!!"

Silence. The teacher's face was red, really red. The class was in a state of confusion for about 1 whole minute or so, and then Tian Chen said, "Can I draw some diagrams on the board?" (Class: "Woah...") The teacher agreed, still smirking and Tian Chen started drawing his AEP standard pictures. He cleared up a lot of things, and the teacher seemed quite impressed too. He just said that he would need to check it out once more. Haha

After Physics was Bio, which was a free period, followed by Lunch and English. I was reading Death Note comic 6 during all 3 periods (under the table for english) from my fellow friend, Violinist Ben Wee. English was just so boring, and the book is just so interesting. I finished the book halfway through English and lent it to Dennis. We had CCA which rocks as it always does and now I'm in front of my com typing out this blog post for all, mainly inspired by Tian Chen's acts. What he did just shows one thing, We Students Rock! Houyes.
